Apple Event 2025: iPhone 17, iPhone Air, Apple Watch 11 & AirPods Pro 3 Unveiled
Apple has just wrapped up its September 9, 2025 keynote, and as expected, the spotlight was on the new iPhone 17 lineup, the long-awaited iPhone Air, refreshed Apple Watches, and the next-generation AirPods Pro 3. The event, streamed live from Cupertino, drew global attention as Tim Cook and Apple executives revealed some of the company’s boldest updates in years.

iPhone 17 What’s New?
Apple officially introduced the iPhone 17 series, available in lavender, mist blue, black, white, and sage. Key highlights include:
ProMotion Display now available even on the entry-level iPhone 17.
Larger 6.3-inch edge-to-edge screen with thinner bezels.
New Ceramic Shield 2 technology, offering three times more scratch resistance.

iPhone Air A Redesign After 8 Years
Perhaps the biggest surprise was the iPhone Air, the first major iPhone redesign since 2017.
Ultra-thin build: only 5.6 mm thick.
Titanium “space-grade” frame for durability.
Powered by the all-new A19 Pro chip, which introduces advanced AI capabilities.
Available in white, gold, black, and sky blue.
Apple described the iPhone Air as “a piece of the future, powerful yet so light it feels like it disappears in your hands.
A19 Pro Chip Built for AI
At the heart of the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro models is the A19 Pro chip. With new machine learning accelerators inside the GPU, Apple promises:
3x GPU performance compared to last year.
Computing power rivaling the MacBook Pro.
Better efficiency for AI-driven features, from photography to real-time translation.

Apple Watch - Apple
Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3
Apple also refreshed its wearables lineup:
Apple Watch Series 11: thinner, more comfortable, and scratch-resistant with a ceramic coating. It now lasts 24 hours on a single charge, comes in jet black, silver, rose gold, and gray, and includes a new 5G modem.
Health upgrade: Series 11 can now monitor chronic high blood pressure using optical sensors, with FDA clearance expected soon.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: improved display, satellite connectivity, and 5G — still starting at $799.
Apple Watch SE 3: entry model priced at $249.

AirPod Pro 3 - Apple
AirPods Pro 3 AI-Powered AirPods
Tim Cook kicked off the event with the AirPods Pro 3, Apple’s most advanced earbuds to date:
Real-time translation of conversations in multiple languages.
Best-in-class active noise cancelation and enhanced transparency mode.
Longer battery life — 8 hours per charge.
Available in five sizes for a better fit.
Price remains unchanged at $249, shipping September 19.
Why This Event Matters
Apple events always set the tone for the tech industry, but this year felt especially pivotal:
A new design era with iPhone Air.
AI becoming central to Apple hardware with the A19 Pro chip.
Wearables gaining real health-monitoring powers.
AirPods evolving into smart translation devices.
From pricing stability (despite tariff speculation) to futuristic features, Apple just raised the bar again.
